30M Man Riding Winch
The 3M DBI-SALA man-riding winch is the perfect solution for maximum protection and secure access in conjunction with confined space entry. The digital winch provides safe and secures retrieval and descent of personnel at a cranking rate of between 4m/min to 9m/min. Capable of working with a maximum load of 205kg, enabling safe rescue procedures irrespective of the circumstances.
Exclusively to the 3M DBI-SALA winch, all are integrated with digital usage indicator systems to determine service intervals by analyzing drum revolutions. Additionally, the 30m man-riding winch includes a braking system with three independent pawls, a centrifugal backup brake, a carrying handle, and a cable retainer spring. The friction brake engages once the minimum load of 2kg is reached. Brake pad wear indicators monitor the condition of the braking mechanism, which features an inertial centrifugal safety backup brake.
Designed with resilience and security in mind, the 30m DBI-SALA man-riding winches components are constructed from zinc-plated steel or anodized aluminum. Bearings are sealed at all contact points ensuring the longevity of all 3M digital winches operating life. An extra layer of security is added with the incorporation of double swivel safety snap hooks, standard on all cables.
