Clamp Meters

A clamp meter is an instrument that can be clamped around a live wire in order to measure the current it's carrying. As a measurement principle, clamp meters detect the magnetic field emitted by current flowing in a wire in order to measure the current value. ESS stocks a wide range of current clampmeters, from milliamp earth clampmeters to flexi-clamp meters capable of measuring up to 2000Amps AC/DC. Many of which can also measure voltage and resistance.
