Davit Arms

A Davit Arm System is erected to manoeuvre, lower and raise, and hold both personnel, equipment, and objects in static positions. When there is a requirement for a confined space entry that does not have a primary means of access, i.e. no tested access ladder or step irons, safety lifting gear such as the Davit Arms Systems are used. When the Davit Arm rescue system is assembled it can also be an emergency standby for evacuating casualties.

At ESS we have a range of mobile Davit Arm Systems, including portable Davit Arm Systems and Davit Arm Counterweight Systems, steering away from the fixed Davit Socket as the new Davit Arms provide the same if not better lifting safety than other static models.
