Globestock Saver Fall Arrest Retrievers
The Globestock Saver is an essential piece of any confined space entry kit. Combining the functionality of a fall arrest unit with an additional emergency retrieval winch, enabling personnel to be safely raised or lowered in the event of an accident. The Saver is available in three sizes, 14m, 20m, and 34m.
Fall arrests devices built by Globestock include an integrated shock absorbing brake mechanism and an automatic brake. Should a fall occur the stainless steel rope would release at an accelerated rate; at a speed of 1.5m/sec the automatic brake will activate and prevent further falling with a stopping distance of 0.6m to 1m. Once safely secure activation of the retrieval winch is simple process, enabling top men to raise or lower personnel to safety. Now, rescues may be carried out swiftly without leaving the user stranded while they wait for additional equipment.
The need for separate fall arrest and winch devices is eradicated by the Saver, with a maximum work load of 136kg no external support is needed. All 14m, 20m, and 34m Saver models can be efficiently mounted to tripods, davit arm systems, or in some instances tested anchor points.
