Overview

An essential piece of equipment upon the entrance of confined spaces, the Draeger Saver CF10 allows easy and straightforward usage. Designed for use in time-sensitive situations this positive pressure hood begins distributing breathable air soon as the hood is pulled out of the carry case, enabling safe and uncomplicated escape from hazardous environments.

Draeger has created the CF10 system for 10 minutes of consistent airflow until empty, with an additional alarm whistle indicating a low air supply. The CF10 escape set is designed to be suitable for use with beards and spectacles, equipped with a wide visor, a natural rubberneck seal and a cylinder content gauge located on the side of the carry case. The bright orange carry case of the Draeger escape set makes it easier to see in dark situations such as confined spaces, the CF10 carry case can also be mounted to walls in certain locations.

How do I know whether I need a CF10 hood escape set or a PP10 mask escape set?

CF10 hood escape sets are permitted when the user will have insufficient contact with a mask, this can be caused by unshaven beards or even stubble but also for operators needing glasses to see.

What’s the difference between a CF10 escape set and a CF15 escape set?

The CF15 has 5 minutes more (15 minutes) of breathable air compared to the CF10 which only contains 10 minutes of breathable air, depending on the size of the confined space being entered you choose your escape set accordingly.

Bear in mind when picking an escape set that every minute is crucial in an escape from hazardous environments, an additional five minutes can be the difference between a safe escape and fatalities
