Working at Height Module 1 Safe Work at Height - Overview (RoSPA Assured)
Attending this ESS RoSPA Assured course will allow the delegate to identify a working at height area and understand the procedures and regulations that control it. This course would be a great starting point for a supervisor to gain some underpinning knowledge about working at height. It will give the student an understanding of what is deemed as a working-at-height activity
Course Duration: 1/2 day - 4 guided learning hours
Course Aims
This ESS course This course is suitable for operatives who work around but not in working-at-height situations due to policies and procedures.
Course Locations: Manchester, Rainham & Wellingborough. ESS are also able to offer Nationwide onsite Training subject to availability and necessary approvals.
- Working at height regulations and associated legislation
- Working at height hierarchy
- Understanding of risk assessments
- Different types of working at height areas including Scaffolding, MEWPs and fragile surfaces
- Spot the problem exercises
Delegates will demonstate the correct use of Personal Fall Protective equipment This will include correct selection , inspection and use of the equipment
