Course Duration: 1 Day – up to 6 guided learning hours

QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)
The QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) qualification is specifically designed for individuals who are required to act as a first aider in their workplace. Successful candidates will learn how to manage a range of injuries and illnesses that could occur at work and will be equipped with the essential skills needed to administer first aid.
- Roles and responsibilities of the First Aider, incident and casualty assessment
- Managing an unresponsive breathing casualty, CPR and Defibrillation
- Recovery position, Stroke, Epilepsy, Choking, Shock, Wounds and Bleeding, Diabetes, Anaphylaxis, Shock, Head and spinal injuries, Wounds and bleeding, Fractures, Sprains, strains and dislocations, Minor injuries, burns and scolds, Poisoning and Eye injuries.
- This course includes theory and practical assessments and end of course Written Assessment.
