Megger MIT1020 10 kV Insulation Resistance Tester
The Megger MIT1020 is versatile, rugged, and minimalistic. Providing operators with insulation resistance testing of high voltage electrical equipment alongside displaying essential voltage, capacitance, and leakage current readings. The 10 kV insulation resistance tester combines accuracy with flexibility. Megger’s 1020 includes an integrated guard terminal thus enhancing the precision of the instrument; whilst facilitating test voltage to be set in steps from 50 V until reaching maximum output voltage, minimising the need of multiple resistance testers.
The essential equipment needed while performing test are included within the MIT1020, specifically designed to meet the requirements of high voltage electrical equipment. Adhering to IEEE 43-2000, the recommendation of 10 kV for motor windings rated above 12 kV, the Megger MIT1020 facilitates this. The IR testers comply to the highest safety standards, displaying high voltage warning if 50 V or above is flowing through the test unit whilst meeting EN61010 requirements. On boarded with various pre-programmed routine testing and diagnostic regimes, including IR, PI, DAR, SV and DD profiles.
