Hilti PS 300 Ferroscan

The Hilti PS 300 Ferroscan locates and provides information on rebar depth and diameter, allowing any drilling, cutting or coring activities planned to take place with minimum risk. With the addition of information saved and downloaded to the Profis software, detailed 2D images can be displayed and analysed to verify and visualise the top most layer of reinforcing. Depth measurement of 200 mm with a localisation accuracy of 1% +/- 3mm and accuracy of cover measurement to a depth of ≤ 50mm of +/- 1 mm. The depth displayed on a circular section rebar is to the middle of the bar to the surface of the encasing construction material. The Hilti PS 300 has a built-in flash memory of 3 Gig, with a USB data interface and data can be downloaded to the Profis software package
