Mercury Vapour analysis and detection is critical in any situation where it is believed mercury may be present in its soluble form. The Jerome 405 Mercury Vapour Analyser utilises the industry-proven, inherently stable and reliable gold film sensor technology to detect lower levels of vapour than had previously been possible with earlier models. Fire departments rely on the Jerome 405 Mercury Analyser and it has found its uses with the technical support teams and mobile technical support laboratories. With its large LCD Display, results can be read in a matter of seconds, and stored and downloaded for future reference. With a range of 0.5 μg/m3 to 999 μg/m3 the Jerome 405 Mercury Analyser can give a measured output display in around 16 seconds after warm up. With simple one button activation. And is supplied with a zero air filter for equilibrating the instrument for the ambient air temperature. Together with an on-board memory of 20,000 data points with auto time/date stamp which can be downloaded via USB. The instrument also has a 4-20 mA output for SCADA system indication.
