GEA Gas Purge Fan Kit 150mm – APU 110v

Alongside purging, the APU fan purge unit can be utilised for tightness and strength testing, used to pressurise pipework with capabilities up to 100 millibar (mbar) in pressure. 

All Soundness Testing and Purging carried out with the APU fan purge unit must be carried out as set down in Institute of Gas Engineers and Managers publications UP/1, or UP/1A. If the volume is less than 1 cubic metre [35.3 cubic feet] with operating pressure below 40 mbar]. Depending upon resistances, the unit provides up to about 50 m3/h of air.
