Megger MIT 525 5KV Insulation Tester
The Megger MIT 525 HV Insulation Tester for all 5KV resistance and associated diagnostic tests on high voltage electrical equipment, such as switchgear, circuit breakers, Transformers, cabling etc. As well as the standard Insulation Resistance Test the MIT 525 can carry out Timed IR, Polarization, Dielectric Absorption Ratio, Step Voltage, Dielectric Discharge and Ramp Tests
The MIT 525 5KV Insulation Tester has been designed to enable the user to carry out Insulation Resistance tests with a minimum of fuss and results can be stored for future retrieval and record keeping. Insulation testing of equipment up to 5KV, tests for PI, DAR, DD, SV, Timed IR and Ramp are all features of the Megger MIT 525. The MIT 525 With a CAT IV 600V Safety rating and high short circuit current of 3 mAmps. The instrument is powered from an extended capacity Li-Ion battery pack which can be fully recharged within 3 hours. The Megger MIT 525 can also be used directly from the mains supply in the case of battery drainage. The Megger MIT 525 has a large LCD Display with backlight so viewing in sunlight or darkened locations will not be a hindrance. Simple operation via two rotary switches, and includes Megger unique HV locking Test Leads and non-removable Test Clips. Memory download is via a USB (Type B) comms lead. Data can be downloaded utilising Megger PowerDB Lite asset management software
