T&R KV5-100 5KV Flash Tester

The T&R KV5-100 mk2 High Voltage AC Test Set is capable of supplying up to 5KV AC, and up to 100mA. Test leads are hardwired into the instrument, which ensures the leads are always kept with the equipment. Test leads are terminated in insulated crocodile clips. The KV5-100 is designed for operation in conjunction with a suitable test enclosure or high voltage test area. A key interlock mechanism is a safety feature which only allows an output to be driven by the KV5-100 when the starting point is zero. Audible and visual alarms indicate when a problem is encountered during the testing process. Analogue Indicators display voltage and current readings. A burn feature is built in supplying 100mA maximum current on a short circuit. The T&R KV5-100 is quite a portable Tester and is a light weight Withstand Tester weighing only 16.5 Kgs.
