Thermtest TLS100 Thermal Needle System

The measurement of Thermal Conductivity and Thermal Resistivity is made very simple and easy to carry out using the Thermtest TLS100 and the verification sample ensures the readings will be accurate and reliable

Using the standard 100mm Test Probe and thermal paste, measurements can be made without fuss, by simply inserting the probe into the sample. A ten minute interval before the first test allows the probe to become isothermally stable. This ensures there will be no sample drift 

Before a measurement is made, input a sample identifier into the TLS-100 controller’s HOME screen. Use the LEFT and RIGHT arrows to move between character positions while using the UP and DOWN arrows to select and change the alphanumeric characters (A to Z and 0 to 9).

When ready to begin a measurement, hold down the enter/RIGHT arrow for 2 seconds and a measurement will start.

Each test is carried out in accordance with ASTM D5334-22A and IEEE 442-2017 with a test duration of 180 seconds, and you should allow a period of approximately 30 mins between tests

Tests can be saved and downloaded using the Thermtest Utility software supplied, via the USB download lead
