HVA68TD VLF Tester

The HVA68TD VLF Tester is engineered to evaluate medium voltage cables with ratings up to 46 kV, adhering to IEEE 400.2-2013 standards. Its compact and portable design ensures ease of use across various sites. The device performs both Very Low Frequency (VLF) and Direct Current (DC) testing, along with sheath testing and sheath fault location (additional fault probe required). The integrated Tan Delta diagnostics provide straightforward condition assessments of cable systems. Additionally, the Arc Pre-Location (APL) feature allows for the pre-location of arcs in cable insulation, enhancing the efficiency of fault detection and reducing downtime.
