Overview

RD8000 Signal Generator Clamp (Red Cap), A multi frequency signal transmitter clamp designed to work the TX signal transmitter range to apply a trace signal to a buried utility line. Set up the clamp, select your trace frequency and detect your buried utility line using a RD8k locator

RD8000 Signal Generator Clamp (Red Cap), provides operators with an alternative way to connect to buried utilities, when using the Radiodetection TX range of signal transmitters. The 4 inch diameter clamp can be placed around the utility line to be traced and when connected to the transmitter the operator can select from a predetermined list of trace frequencies from 4kHz to 131kHz to suit the required task and application.
