Radiodetections RD8100 Recharge, li Ion powered multi frequency locator provides operators with a longer lasting and green solution for utility tracing and mapping activities.  Passive utility locating includes the use of Power or Radio modes.  Power mode is enhanced with the option to use the RD8100s’ dedicated power filters enabling the operator to select a single power frequency coming off a cable.  In this instance the locators utility compass and auto depth features provide the operator with a higher degree of tracing confidence especially when it comes to tracing highly energised power cables.
