ISS BAT Remote Control Panel

The ISS BAT Remote BAT Distribution Panel is a vital piece of equipment engineered to work in conjunction with ESS breathing-air cylinder trailers, providing a safe and efficient method for delivering breathable air to personnel in demanding environments. This robust panel is particularly suited for hazardous entry scenarios where the breathing-air source needs to be located a safe distance from the work area.   
A key feature of the ESS Remote Manway Distribution Panel is its 50-metre umbilical breathing-air hose. This extended length allows the breathing-air cylinder trailer to be positioned remotely, away from the immediate hazards of the work zone, whilst ensuring that personnel have a reliable supply of air. The umbilical hose comprises a 19mm internal diameter distribution hose with CEJN442 plug and socket connections, along with instrument air with Rectus 21 plug and socket connections for the main (blue) and reserve (black) pressure gauges.   
The distribution panel itself is fitted with 4 no. CEJN342 outlet sockets, enabling connection for multiple users. Safety is paramount, and the panel incorporates an audible siren that is automatically triggered if the air supply from the breathing-air cylinder trailer switches from main to reserve. This provides an immediate warning to personnel, ensuring they are aware of the change in air supply.   
To further enhance the quality of the breathing-air, the panel includes an activated carbon filter (FIL0042A) to remove any residual odours from the distribution hose. This ensures that personnel receive clean and odour-free air.   
The panel is designed with practicality in mind, featuring adjustable feet that can be extended to improve stability during use.
