Safety Harness Awareness
Course Duration: 1/2 Day – up to 4 Guided learning hours
Course Locations: Aberdeen, Glasgow, Middlesbrough, Castleford, Manchester, Wellingborough, Rainham, Heathrow, Southampton and Exeter.
ESS are also able to offer Nationwide onsite Training subject to availability and necessary approvals.
Safety Harness Awareness
This ESS course is suitable for operatives who during the daily activities have to wear a safety harness. It will give the delegate an understanding of the safe use of a harness, methods of inspection and awareness of the regulations.
Theoretical Content
- Understand personal responsibilities.
- Health and safety legislation, regulations and safe working practices and procedures.when using a safety harness
- Different types of harness's
- Pre use inspections,
- The correct fitting of a harness
- The correct procedure of disposing of a damaged harness
Practical Content
- Delegates will be asked to demonstrate the correct inspection of a safety harness
- Also the correct fitting of a safety harness
