Overview

Providing fully automatic zero emissions SF6 gas analysing capabilities. The Rapidox SF6 6100 gas analyser is explicitly designed for purity control and monetization of gas used within high voltage switchgear, circuit breaker, and transformers. Rapidox’s 6100 Pump back maintains the highest degree of accuracy when measuring the purity of SF6 gas through specifically selected sensors. Equipped with a modular configuration, enabling simultaneous analysation of eight compatible gases at one time.

Gas samples from high and medium voltage equipment are taken once the device is connected. Rapidox SF6 designed the 6100 Pump Back Analyser to allow full compatibility with atmospheric gas combinations such as SF6, CF4, N2 and air. The SF6 6100 maintains its ability analyse gases contaminated by toxic gases such as SO2, HF, H2S and CO. The analyser comprises an internal sample compartment to log and record SF6 gas pressure; this feature enables simultaneous analysation and data logging of all measured gases within minutes. In addition, Rapidox SF6 6100 gas analysers provide high-pressure gas return in electrical equipment by the means of the 10 bar compressor that features separate lithium battery supply.

The Rapidox SF6 provides an exceptional accuracy when it comes to analysing multiple gases, the gas analyser provides accuracy level based off the gas itself. When measuring SF6 Sulphur Hexafluoride an accuracy of ±0.5% is achieved, but when analysing SO2 Sulphur Dioxide, HF Hydrogen Fluoride, CF4* Tetrafluoromethane, H2S Hydrogen Sulphide, and CO Carbon Monoxide an accuracy of ±2% full-scale is achieved.
