Hukseflux FTN01 Field Thermal Needle System
The thermal resistivity or conductivity of soils can be quickly evaluated on-site with the FTN01 Field Thermal Needle System. Commonly used in applications such as to route surveying of high voltage electrical power cables and heated pipelines. The FTN01 prioritises time saving and durability, whilst offering sufficient accuracy for routine field measurement. Hukseflux FTN01 system is able to perform measurements without external power source and that the system is sufficiently robust to survive manual insertion into most common soils.
The FTN01 is equipped with automatic measurement data processing, providing both a quality indication of the measurement and an end-result. Recording up to 30 measurements at one time, but to maintain quality assurance of results, measurements and findings can be stored, downloaded, and reviewed on a PC using the CRU01 software. Comparative results can be analysed and recalculated in spreadsheet format or mathematical programs.
