Suparule CHM 600 Cable Height Meter

The CHM 600 is a compact handheld device that provides essential non-contact measuring capabilities. The cable height metre is composed of three primary components, the coned-shaped transmitter that emits sound waves, a microprocessor within the instruments that detects the reflected sound waves. Accommodating for sound wave fluctuation caused by temperature change, the Suparule 600Eis equipped with a temperature sensor mounted at the front of the instrument.

Three-button operation allows simple measurement, measuring up to six cables at once at a distance of up to 15m depending on cable width and temperature. Operators simply press the “On” button, “Measure” button, and gently rock back and forth to gain an accurate reading. The Suparule 600 cable height meter measures cables with a min diameter of 2.5mm to 25mm, whilst maintaining an accuracy range of 0.5% ± 2 digits.
