Designed to be used within harsh working environments, the ROTALIGN Touch meets all on-site requirements.

The degree of accuracy is achieved through single-laser technology within the sensALIGN 7, featuring intelliSWEEP, intelliPOINT, and intelliPASS. The system provides active situational intelligence that immediately adjusts to specific alignment challenges in real time. The intelliSWEEP technology enables continuous measurement, automatically detecting and eliminating sources of coupling play, rotational angle, and environmental vibrations. Producing precise, accurate, and repeatable results through the simultaneous filtering of low quality measurement data.

How does ROTALLIGN laser shaft alignment work?

Two sensors mounted on two linked shafts are used by the ROTALIGN laser shaft alignment equipment to produce measurements. In order to determine if the shafts are aligned and within a predetermined tolerance, both sensors simultaneously shoot a laser beam and receive the beam from the opposite sensor.

How accurate is the ROTALIGN Touch laser alignment?

In comparison to dial gauges or straight-edge techniques, ROTALIGN Touch laser alignment can be ten times faster and one hundred percent more precise. Lasers are capable of measurements as precise as 0.001mm.
