Duomo Medium Gas Purge Unit (MPU) – 150mm

Alongside purging, this fan purge unit is intended for tightness and strength testing, used to pressurise pipework with capabilities up to 100 millibar (mbar) in pressure. All Soundness Testing and Purging carried out with the MPU gas purge unit must be carried out as set down in Institute of Gas Engineers and Managers publications UP/1, or UP/1A. If the volume is less than 1 cubic metre [35.3 cubic feet] with operating pressure below 40 mbar]. Depending upon resistances, the unit provides up to about 50 m3/h of air.
