Overview

The Fluke 113 digital multimeter provides all basic test functionalities quickly and in a simplistic manner, allowing easy navigation between testing capabilities. Fluke have embedded VCHECK LoZ low impedance measurement function to allow simultaneous test for voltage and continuity, whilst maintaining the ability for manual or automatic range selection, increasing user functionality.

The 113 digital multi-meter’s compact design and versatile functionality creates the perfect utility tool for all operators who perform basic electrical testing, including utility workers, technicians, electricians, and linesmen.

The array of functionalities built into to the Fluke 113 have been strategically developed to improve all operators experience and testing times. The multi-meter detects and rejects ghost voltages from adjacent wires, while displaying AC and DC voltage, depending on what was detected. In instances where a voltage is not detected, the 113 digital multimeter will instantly perform an automatic continuity test. As well as the Min/Max function allowing users to record signal fluctuations.

How accurate is the Fluke 113 digital multimeter?

The Fluke 113 has many features, meaning there are many accuracy ranges for different functions, the 113 multimeter accuracy ranges are below:
•   VCHEK accuracy: DC, 45 to 500 Hz: 2.0% + 3 / 500 Hz to 1 kHz: 4.0% + 3
•   Capacitence accuracy: 1.9% + 2, 100 μF - 1000 μF: 1.9% + 2, 1000 μF: 5% + 20
•   Ω accuracy: 0.9% + 2 / 0.9% + 1 / 0.9% + 1
•   Continuity accuracy: beeper on < 20 Ω, off > 250 Ω detects opens or shorts of 500 μs or longer
•   Diode test accuracy: 2.0% + 3

Can fluke 113 multimeter measure amps?

Fluke 113 is, unfortunately, not equipped with amperage inputs, and its resistance range is restricted to 600 to 60 k. It does, however, have a basic capacitance range. Both the continuity tester and the diode check on the device are highly responsive and latching.

What is the difference between True RMS and a normal multimeter?

Non-sinusoidal waves can be measured by a standard multimeter, although the accuracy can be unreliable. In comparison, a more advanced True-RMS meter can measure non-sinusoidal waves, which are more complex than pure waves, with much more accuracy.
