Vp ESS is proud to announce that our Exeter Survey Workshop has officially been awarded Leica Geosystems Service Centre Accreditation, marking another significant milestone for our Survey division. 
Following the success of our West Bromwich facility, this latest accreditation marks our fifth accredited workshop and further strengthens our commitment to delivering industry leading service, maintenance and calibration support for Leica Geosystems surveying equipment across the UK. 

Investing in Expertise

This achievement reflects both technical excellence and the dedication of our team, particularly Ryan, our Survey Technician at Exeter.

Ryan’s journey with ESS is one we’re incredibly proud of. He began his career with us as a Customer Support Driver but quickly developed a strong passion for Survey. Recognising his interest and potential, the business supported his development as he transitioned into a technical role within the workshop.
From day one, Ryan demonstrated a meticulous approach and genuine enthusiasm for precision engineering. His attention to detail and commitment to quality set a high standard within the team.
Last year, Ryan travelled to Switzerland to undertake advanced manufacturer training directly with Leica Geosystems. After successfully completing this specialist programme, he returned with enhanced expertise that has now contributed directly to our Exeter workshop achieving full Leica accreditation.

A Team Achievement

While Ryan’s dedication has been instrumental, this milestone is the result of a collective effort. With the continued support of our regional teams and the wider ESS business, the Exeter workshop has developed the processes, quality standards and technical capability required to meet Leica’s rigorous service centre criteria.
Achieving authorised status means customers can have complete confidence that their Leica equipment is serviced, calibrated and repaired to manufacturer approved standards - helping maximise performance, reliability and uptime on site.

This latest accreditation reinforces Vp ESS’s position as a trusted partner to surveying professionals. By expanding our authorised service capabilities into Exeter, we are improving regional access to certified support while maintaining the highest levels of technical excellence.
