Zorn Lightweight Deflectometer 3.0 GPS
The Zorn ZFG 3.0 GPS is designed to help determine the load bearing capacity and the compaction of soils prior to earthen works being carried out. The results found using the Zorn ZFG are based on the German regulations TP BF-StB Part B8.3.
Primarily designed for the civil and road construction industry the Zorn ZFG 3.0 GPS. Using the drop weight technique, compaction and load bearing capacity of various soils can be established prior to carrying out earthen works and major civil works. The tests can be carried out on mixed grained and course grained soils up to a maximum grain size of 63mm.
A major benefit of the Zorn 3.0 ZFG is the size and ease of use. There is no need for loaded trucks as counter balances and the ZORN ZFG can be used in difficult to reach areas. Results can be seen on the LCD Display and printed out. The GPS version enables the user to give a precise location of the tests.
